About this asset

This tropical style ceiling fan SketchUp model features four distinct leaf-shaped wooden blades and a neutral beige metal motor housing. The ceiling fan features a unique, organic aesthetic defined by its four sculpted blades, which mimic the form and ribbed texture of large tropical leaves. Finished in a warm, natural wood tone, these blades provide a soft contrast to the central motor housing and downrod, which are rendered in a clean, matte beige. The housing itself has a subtle, faceted geometric profile, adding a touch of contemporary precision to the otherwise naturalistic design. This assembly offers a balanced composition, suitable for interiors requiring a statement piece that blends functionality with a relaxed, resort-inspired atmosphere.

The download is a 14.2 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a ceiling plane. Users should ensure the downrod is aligned with the desired mounting point on the ceiling surface. Material textures are applied to the leaf-shaped blades, which can be easily swapped or adjusted within the material editor to match specific wood species or finishes. The model is optimized for quick integration into interior scenes without overwhelming the viewport performance or file size.

This fan is ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or covered outdoor terraces where a tropical or coastal aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with rattan furniture, linen soft furnishings, and abundant indoor greenery. Architects and designers searching for organic-themed cooling solutions will find this piece useful for projects ranging from boutique hotels and beachside villas to relaxed, modern residential interiors. It functions well as a focal point in spaces that prioritize natural textures and a light, airy palette.
