Traditional Chrome Exposed Thermostatic Shower Set

This traditional chrome exposed thermostatic shower set, modeled for 3ds Max, features a classic overhead rose and handheld sprayer. This traditional exposed shower set exhibits classic design cues with its high-shine chrome finish and intricate cross-head handle controls. The assembly includes a large, circular overhead shower rose attached to a curved riser rail, complemented by a secondary handheld shower unit on a flexible hose. The mixer valve body is detailed with traditional aesthetics, incorporating separate valves for temperature and flow control. The geometry is clean and well-defined, capturing the reflective properties of the polished metallic surfaces, suitable for high-end bathroom visualisations where period-style fixtures are required to anchor the interior design scheme.

The download is an 8.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your project folder and utilise the existing material definitions for the chrome surfaces. Ensure the model is scaled correctly to match your wall-mounted plumbing height requirements. The file structure should allow for easy adjustment of the shower head and handheld unit positions. Apply a subtle environment map to the scene to properly catch the reflections on the polished chrome, enhancing the realism of the metallic finish in your final renders.
