About this asset

This modern kitchen island set for 3ds Max features a marble-topped work area with an integrated walnut breakfast bar and stools. The island assembly combines a clean, white-fronted base unit with a high-contrast marble countertop, which incorporates a black induction cooktop and stainless steel cookware. A cantilevered walnut timber section extends from the main block to function as a breakfast bar, paired with two matching solid wood stools. The set is completed by a cylindrical stainless steel range hood, a linear three-light pendant fixture, and decorative tabletop items including wine bottles and a floral arrangement. The overall aesthetic balances minimalist white cabinetry with the organic warmth of dark-toned natural wood and stone textures.

The download is a 42.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for the island base, the breakfast bar, the lighting, and individual decorative accessories. Users can easily adjust the material IDs to swap the marble grain or wood finish to match specific project palettes. The lighting fixture is provided as a separate component, allowing for independent placement and adjustment of light intensities. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane when merging this unit into a larger kitchen floor plan.

This island unit is designed for contemporary residential kitchen layouts, particularly open-plan living and dining spaces where the kitchen serves as a social hub. It works well in luxury apartment projects or high-end kitchen renovation schemes. Designers should use this asset when composing interior visualisations that require a functional focal point with integrated seating. It pairs effectively with minimalist cabinetry and neutral floor finishes, providing a sophisticated transition between food preparation areas and casual dining zones in modern homes.
