Modern Charcoal and Light Wood Kitchen Unit with Island

This modern charcoal and light wood linear kitchen unit for 3ds Max features a sleek island design with integrated appliances. This linear kitchen configuration pairs dark charcoal cabinetry with light wood-grain open shelving and upper cabinets, creating a balanced, contemporary aesthetic. The lower cabinetry includes an integrated oven and clean-lined handle-less doors. A white countertop spans the length of the base units, incorporating a stainless steel sink with a high-arc faucet and a built-in cooktop. The upper section features a continuous run of charcoal cabinets above a recessed light wood niche, which provides functional storage and aesthetic warmth. The overall composition is minimalist, focusing on clean horizontal lines and a sophisticated material contrast.

The download is a 19.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of cabinetry, appliances, and hardware components. Users should ensure all texture paths are correctly remapped upon importing the scene. The lighting setup can be customised by adjusting the intensity of the included emissive materials or by adding secondary area lights above the island to simulate task lighting. The modular nature of the units allows for scaling or minor adjustments to suit specific floor plan requirements within a larger interior project.
