About this asset

This SketchUp model features a pair of minimalist fabric laundry baskets, detailed with a simple grid pattern and neutral beige trim. These soft-sided laundry baskets are presented as a set of two, showcasing a cylindrical form with a flexible, unstructured silhouette. The exterior is finished in a clean white textile, overlaid with a subtle, thin grey-brown grid pattern that provides a modern, graphic aesthetic. Each basket features a contrasting beige fabric rim, which adds a touch of warmth to the overall design. The material appears lightweight and pliable, suitable for casual interior settings. The set includes one shorter and one taller unit, providing varied storage options for a cohesive look in any utility space.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these baskets into a SketchUp project, import the component and position it within your utility or bedroom scene. Because these are soft-surface objects, they benefit from being placed on flat surfaces to avoid intersection issues with floor geometry. You can easily adjust the scale to suit specific storage needs or apply custom textures to the fabric faces if you require a different colour palette to match your interior design scheme. Ensure the model is placed on its own layer for efficient scene management.

These baskets are ideal for populating laundry rooms, walk-in wardrobes, or contemporary bedrooms where functional storage is required. They pair well with open shelving, utility cabinetry, or minimalist interior schemes. Search for these items when looking to add lived-in detail to residential renderings, specifically for projects focusing on home organization and utility room styling. They provide a realistic, domestic touch to empty corners or near washing machines, enhancing the lived-in quality of your 3D visualisations without cluttering the architectural composition.
