About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a walnut kitchen island with an integrated dining table and four matching rattan chairs. Designed with a seamless aesthetic, this hybrid kitchen island combines a solid walnut base housing storage drawers with an extended cantilevered dining surface. The rich, dark wood grain provides a warm, organic feel, while the four included dining chairs feature refined timber frames paired with traditional woven rattan backrests and seats. The proportions are balanced to allow for comfortable seating along the transition between the food preparation zone and the dining area. This set is provided as a cohesive unit, capturing the interplay between the structured storage cabinetry and the lightweight, airy design of the chairs.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement within a kitchen or open-plan living space. Users should manage the geometry using tags to separate the chairs from the island unit for better scene control. The high-resolution wood textures are mapped to ensure realistic rendering results. Adjust the scale to fit specific floor plans and apply local lighting to highlight the intricate rattan weave and the walnut finish of the main cabinetry.

Ideal for modern residential interiors, this piece serves as an excellent focal point for open-plan kitchens, breakfast nooks, or dining areas in apartments and houses.
