Contemporary Marble and Fluted Timber Kitchen Island Scene

This contemporary SketchUp kitchen scene features a marble and fluted timber island paired with matching wall cabinetry and stools. This kitchen scene presents a sophisticated linear layout. The central island serves as a focal point, featuring a white marble countertop with grey veining that waterfalls down one side. The front face of the island is finished in dark, vertical fluted timber slats. The rear wall cabinetry mirrors this aesthetic, combining matte black storage units with a central section of matching fluted timber cladding. The setup includes two timber bar stools with black upholstered seats and a large potted indoor plant. The overall composition balances natural textures with clean, modern lines and dark, moody accents.

The download is a 66.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is organised into logical groups or components, allowing for efficient placement within a larger interior model. Users can easily scale the island or wall units to fit specific room dimensions. Materials are applied as standard textures; these can be swapped or adjusted via the material tray to suit different colour schemes. The lighting and props are included as separate elements, providing flexibility to toggle them on or off depending on the required level of detail for the project.

This kitchen model is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly for high-end apartment or house kitchen visualisations. It fits well into contemporary or minimalist schemes where dark tones and natural stone textures are desired. It pairs effectively with modern architectural lighting and neutral floor finishes, making it a versatile addition to any professional library focusing on luxury residential kitchen spaces.
