Contemporary Grey Stone Kitchen Island with Cane Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey stone kitchen island with fluted detailing, paired with a rattan and wood chair. This sculptural kitchen island set features a tiered, grey stone surface with a distinct fluted texture on the vertical supports. The design combines monolithic stone elements with a contrasting turned wooden leg at one end, creating a tactile and organic aesthetic. Accompanying the island are two natural wood log stools with hollowed centers and a single dining chair crafted from timber with a woven rattan backrest. The overall composition balances heavy, textured stone with lighter, natural wood elements, making it a sophisticated addition to high-end interior spaces requiring a unique focal point.

The download is a 39.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organized into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the island and individual chairs. Users should ensure the stone and wood textures are correctly mapped using standard UVW unwrap modifiers upon import. The file is optimized for high-quality architectural visualization, providing clean geometry that holds up well in close-up renders. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the intricate fluted stone details and the natural grain of the timber components for maximum visual impact in the scene.
