Contemporary Grey Kitchen Scene with Fluted Island

This contemporary kitchen scene in SketchUp features a central fluted island with a marble countertop and geometric backsplash tiling. This comprehensive kitchen assembly showcases a modern L-shaped layout anchored by a substantial central island. The island base features a distinctive vertical fluted texture in a dark grey finish, topped with a white marble surface. Cabinetry follows a minimalist handleless design in a muted grey tone, complemented by tall glass-fronted display units. A striking geometric backsplash uses a mix of white, grey, and mustard-yellow hexagonal tiles to create visual interest. The composition includes integrated appliances, a multi-pendant light fixture, and decorative accessories such as glassware and greenery to complete the realistic interior environment.

Users can integrate this SketchUp scene directly into larger residential project models by grouping the assembly for easy placement and layer management. The file is structured to allow for individual component modification, such as swapping out the appliance models or adjusting the cabinet finishes to match specific project palettes. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily re-mapped or updated to suit alternative rendering workflows. Ensure the model origin is set correctly relative to the project floor plan before final positioning.
