About this asset

This 3ds Max kitchen island features a grey stone worktop with an integrated cooktop and a natural live-edge wooden breakfast bar. The island unit combines a minimalist grey stone-effect countertop with a contrasting, organic live-edge timber breakfast bar that overhangs the main frame. Supported by turned wooden legs at the bar end, the design includes three matching round stools with dark metal bases and solid wood seats. A built-in induction cooktop is flush-mounted into the stone surface, creating a seamless transition. The base of the island is finished in a dark, clean-lined cabinetry, providing a functional contrast to the raw, natural texture of the timber top, resulting in a balanced, modern aesthetic.

The download is a 47.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can adjust the stone and wood material maps via the material editor to match specific project lighting conditions. The assembly is scaled for standard kitchen heights, allowing for quick insertion as a single unit into larger interior scenes. Ensure the pivot point is set to the floor base to simplify alignment with existing floor plans or kitchen cabinetry layouts during the final composition and rendering process.

Ideal for high-end residential kitchen designs, open-plan living areas, or luxury showroom displays, this island serves as a focal point for social cooking environments. It pairs well with modern pendant lighting and industrial-style bar stools. Professionals searching for feature kitchen elements, live-edge furniture, or custom joinery assets will find this model useful for architectural visualisations, interior design presentations, and concept development. It is particularly effective for projects aiming to blend sleek, contemporary lines with warm, natural materials to create a welcoming, high-end atmosphere.
