Contemporary Grey and Timber L-Shaped Kitchen Scene

This contemporary L-shaped kitchen scene for SketchUp features a grey and timber cabinetry palette with a marble-topped island bar. This comprehensive kitchen scene presents a sophisticated L-shaped layout combining matte grey vertical-slat lower cabinetry with light-toned timber shelving and framing. The workspace is anchored by a marble-effect island that extends into a breakfast bar, paired with three metal-framed bar stools featuring timber seats and cross-braced backrests. Integrated appliances, including a side-by-side refrigerator and built-in microwave, are seamlessly housed within the cabinetry. A cylindrical white range hood provides a focal point above the workspace, while open shelving and a dedicated wine rack add functional display elements to the overall design.

The download is a 35.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is best utilised as a base component for interior planning. Users should manage the complex geometry using tags to isolate cabinetry, appliances, and furniture for easier manipulation. Materials are applied as standard surfaces, allowing for quick re-texturing or adjustments to the colour palette. To achieve high-quality visualisations, import this model into your project file, scale to the room dimensions, and apply light sources to the integrated downlights and overhead pendant to enhance the realistic finish.
