About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a freestanding oval bathtub with a striking charcoal-coloured fluted exterior finish. The bathtub features an elegant, elongated oval silhouette with a clean white interior basin. Its defining aesthetic is the exterior cladding, which is composed of vertical fluted channels in a deep charcoal tone, offering a tactile, rhythmic texture that contrasts with the smooth rim. The design is compact yet sculptural, suitable for modern interior schemes. While the primary asset is the tub itself, the geometry is well-defined to allow for easy placement in various bathroom layouts. The smooth, minimalist interior ensures a focus on form and functional ergonomics for high-end residential or hotel bathroom designs.

The download is a 76.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it on a dedicated 'Sanitaryware' layer to maintain model organisation. Users should utilise the native scale tool to ensure the footprint aligns with the specific bathroom dimensions of the project. Materials are applied as separate textures for the interior and exterior, allowing for easy customisation of the fluting colour or the interior finish. Ensure all geometry is oriented correctly to avoid back-face visibility when rendering with external plugins.

This piece is ideal for luxury residential master bathrooms, boutique hotel suites, and high-end spa environments where a sculptural focal point is required. It pairs well with floor-mounted brass or matte black tapware, stone flooring, and soft ambient lighting. Professionals searching for 'freestanding oval bathtub', 'fluted bathroom fixtures', or 'modern master bath features' will find this asset versatile for both conceptual visualisations and detailed interior design documentation. It integrates seamlessly into contemporary or minimalist design palettes where texture and clean, geometric forms are prioritised.
