Modern Monochrome and Tan Living Room Scene

A modern living room scene modelled in 3ds Max, featuring a low-profile black leather sofa, tan lounge seating, and marble tables. This comprehensive interior scene presents a sophisticated, low-slung furniture arrangement anchored by a large, modular black leather sofa and a contrasting tan leather lounge piece. The composition is balanced by a geometric, multi-tiered marble coffee table and a smaller, pedestal-style side table. Soft textiles define the space, including a textured grey area rug and layered floor-to-ceiling drapery in sheer and opaque black fabric. Lighting is integrated into the ceiling, complemented by a slim, dual-disc floor lamp. The overall palette is strictly monochrome with warm tan accents, creating a high-contrast, contemporary aesthetic suitable for high-end residential projects.

The download is a 432 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this scene is structured as a complete environment for architectural visualisation. Users can easily adjust the lighting intensity or modify the material parameters to suit specific project requirements. The assets are organised within the scene, allowing for individual elements to be extracted or swapped if needed. Best practice involves checking the light map settings and ensuring texture paths are correctly re-linked upon initial loading to maintain the intended render quality and material reflections across all surfaces.
