Modern Minimalist Indoor Zen Garden Scene with Timber Staircase

This modern minimalist 3ds Max scene features a tranquil indoor zen garden integrated with a dark timber staircase. Designed for high-end residential or boutique hospitality environments, this scene captures a serene biophilic transition space. The composition focuses on a small-scale rock garden containing moss, ferns, and textured boulders, illuminated by natural light filtering through a skylight or high-level window. Adjacent to this botanical feature is a set of minimalist timber stairs with deep-toned treads. The interaction between the organic elements and the clean, architectural lines of the staircase creates a balanced, contemplative atmosphere. Atmospheric fog effects are integrated into the lighting to soften the transition between the hard surfaces and the greenery.

The download is a 59.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this scene directly into existing 3ds Max projects to establish a high-quality focal point. The file is structured for immediate rendering, allowing users to adjust the camera perspective or lighting intensity to match their specific project requirements. Because the scene includes complex elements like foliage and atmospheric fog, users should manage these assets using layers to ensure optimal viewport performance. Materials are pre-assigned and ready for final render adjustments, ensuring a seamless workflow for architectural visualization artists.
