Luxury Dark Contemporary Living Room Scene in Charcoal

This dark contemporary living room scene for 3ds Max features a sophisticated open-plan layout with a dramatic marble feature wall. Defined by a moody, monochromatic palette, this expansive living room scene centres on a low-profile, modular fabric sofa in a deep brown tone. The space is anchored by a large, textured charcoal rug and a set of nested coffee tables with stone tops. A striking black marble wall serves as the backdrop for a floating staircase illuminated by integrated step lights. Additional design elements include a sleek floor lamp, sculptural decor, and recessed ceiling lighting. The composition balances architectural massing with soft, tactile furnishings to create a refined, high-end residential atmosphere.

The download is a 98.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can append or merge individual furniture components into larger project files, ensuring consistent scale and lighting parameters are maintained throughout the design development process.

Ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lobby visualisations, or luxury apartment marketing, this scene provides a ready-made environment for testing interior design concepts. It pairs effectively with minimalist architecture and dark-toned material palettes. Architects and visualisers searching for moody lounge interiors, modern open-plan living spaces, or sophisticated, high-contrast design setups will find this file an efficient starting point. It is well-suited for late-stage design presentations where high-fidelity lighting and material depth are required to communicate the intended atmosphere to clients.
