About this asset

This Japanese tea room interior scene for SketchUp features a minimalist raised platform, bamboo accents, and floor-level seating. Defined by a serene, minimalist aesthetic, this tea room interior centers on a raised timber platform that establishes a distinct, elevated zone. The layout includes a low, square timber coffee table draped with a blue runner, flanked by two woven floor cushions. To the side, a tall cluster of indoor bamboo plants rises from a stone-filled base, creating a natural vertical element. Integrated wall shelving in a matching wood finish provides storage for decorative items. Large floor-to-ceiling windows with slatted timber blinds allow natural light to filter through, framing a view of a lush outdoor garden.

The download is a 72.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Working with this SketchUp scene requires managing the organized layer structure to isolate furniture, lighting, and structural elements. Professionals can easily adjust the camera position to capture specific angles of the tea room or swap textures on the timber surfaces to match project-specific finishes. Since the scene is fully assembled, users should verify the scale of the model against their project floor plan before merging it into a larger design file, ensuring the floor-to-ceiling heights align with the intended architectural context.
