About this asset

This 3ds Max scene features a lush, contemporary balcony arrangement complete with a vertical garden and dense floral planters. Designed as a comprehensive exterior environment, this scene captures a narrow balcony space defined by warm wood decking and floor-to-ceiling glass partitions. The primary focal point is a dense, multi-species vertical garden that runs the height of the wall, complemented by an array of hanging pots and ground-level troughs overflowing with vibrant, colourful flowers. The planting palette includes varied textures and hues, creating a layered, naturalistic aesthetic. The structural elements are minimalist, allowing the organic forms of the ivy and flowering shrubs to dominate the visual composition of the outdoor space.

The download is a 511 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a complete 3ds Max scene, the file is structured for immediate integration into architectural visualisations. Professionals should treat this as a reference or base asset, adjusting the camera framing and light settings to suit the specific time of day required for the project. The vegetation assets are distributed to fill the balcony depth, and users can manipulate the individual plant clusters or the vertical garden wall as grouped objects within the scene hierarchy to refine the density and variety.

Ideal for residential architectural visualisations, this scene works effectively in high-density urban apartment projects or terrace designs where greening is essential. It provides a ready-made solution for creating a vibrant, lived-in feel for balconies, roof gardens, or outdoor entertainment areas. The asset pairs well with modern outdoor furniture and can be used across various project stages, from initial concept renders to final marketing visuals, helping to convey a strong biophilic design intent to clients and stakeholders during the design process.
