Contemporary Walnut Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This contemporary open-plan living room scene for SketchUp features rich walnut finishes, integrated wine storage, and a refined leather sofa. Defined by a sophisticated palette of warm walnut timber and clean white surfaces, this open-plan interior scene centers on a custom floor-to-ceiling storage wall. The unit integrates display shelving with recessed lighting, a dedicated wine rack, and a central niche housing a sculptural Buddha figure. The lounge area includes a low-profile leather sofa and a matching timber-framed coffee table, all set upon a textured rug. The space flows seamlessly into a dining zone, with high-quality joinery and consistent material application throughout, creating a cohesive, high-end residential atmosphere with balanced proportions and layered ambient lighting.

The download is a 491 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed as a comprehensive SketchUp model, this scene is structured for immediate architectural visualisation. Users can easily toggle layers for lighting fixtures and furniture components to refine the composition. The textures are pre-mapped to the geometry, allowing for quick material adjustments or swaps within the native material editor. Given the complexity of the cabinetry, it is recommended to manage the model using components to maintain viewport performance while editing the surrounding environment or adjusting the camera placement for final render outputs.
