Contemporary Open-Plan Living Room Scene in Black

This contemporary open-plan living room scene for SketchUp features a curated layout with a sectional sofa and blue lounge chair. Defined by a clean, contemporary aesthetic, this open-plan residential interior integrates a spacious lounge, dining area, and kitchen. The lounge features a modular sectional sofa in monochrome fabric, paired with a distinct organic-shaped blue velvet lounge chair. A low-profile marble-topped coffee table anchors the central rug, while light timber beams and flooring provide natural warmth. The dining area includes a dark table with contrasting red and black chairs. Marble-clad columns and glass stair railings add architectural texture, balancing the neutral palette of white, black, and grey throughout the entire living space.

The download is a 460 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational environment for rapid interior visualisation. Upon loading the file, users should manage the hierarchy via layers to toggle specific furniture elements or lighting components. The model is scaled for immediate camera placement, allowing designers to adjust lighting intensity and material properties within their chosen render engine. Textures are pre-mapped, ensuring efficient integration into existing workflows without requiring extensive re-texturing, making it ideal for quick design iterations or client presentations.
