Contemporary Grey Leather L-Shaped Sofa Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features an L-shaped leather sofa, swivel armchair, and integrated shelving. The layout centres on a low-profile, L-shaped leather sofa in a muted beige-grey tone, complemented by a matching swivel lounge chair with a black metal base. A glass-topped coffee table with a metallic plinth sits atop a neutral area rug. The wall composition includes a dark stone-textured feature wall housing a wall-mounted television and a floating console, balanced by a floor-to-ceiling metal shelving unit. A recessed ceiling detail with layered lighting and sheer floor-to-ceiling curtains softens the overall aesthetic, creating a balanced, high-end residential atmosphere suitable for modern apartment design.

The download is a 111 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Working with this SketchUp scene involves managing the pre-composed layers to isolate specific furniture pieces or lighting elements. Users should check the component hierarchy to easily swap materials or adjust the scale of the furniture to fit custom floor plans. The scene is set up for immediate rendering, so ensure that textures are re-linked if paths are broken upon opening. Utilize the existing lighting configuration as a base, then adjust the exposure and shadow settings to match the specific project requirements.

This scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, high-end apartment developments, and luxury hotel lounge visualizations. It provides a cohesive, ready-to-render aesthetic that works well in early-stage concept presentations or final client pitch imagery. Designers can use this to quickly populate living spaces, pairing it with additional decor or architectural modifications to suit specific spatial needs.
