Contemporary Grey Dining Room Scene

This contemporary dining room scene in SketchUp features a minimalist grey dining table set, soft lighting, and a textured feature wall. This dining room scene presents a refined, contemporary aesthetic defined by clean lines and a neutral palette. The central focus is a sculptural, dark grey dining table with tapered legs, surrounded by four light-timber chairs featuring upholstered seats. The backdrop includes a large, panelled feature wall in soft beige, accented by a deep blue geometric wall-art piece. Overhead, two large, dome-shaped concrete pendant lights provide a balanced, industrial-inspired contrast to the warm timber tones. Subtle recessed ceiling lighting and floor-to-ceiling curtains complete the composition, offering a sophisticated, ready-to-render environment for residential or hospitality projects.

The download is a 57.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene into your workflow, import the model and assess the existing layer structure to toggle specific furniture or lighting elements. The materials are pre-applied, allowing for quick adjustments to textures or colour schemes within the native material editor. Use the scene tabs to manage camera angles for final renders, or extract individual components like the chairs and pendant lights as separate groups to reuse in other project files, ensuring consistent scale and material mapping across your design library.
