About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a double-height volume, dark wood wall panelling, and black leather furniture. Defined by a bold, monochromatic palette, this expansive living room scene centres on a large L-shaped black leather sectional sofa. The space is anchored by dark, veined marble floor tiles and full-height dark wood wall cladding that creates a sophisticated, moody atmosphere. A striking parametric-style sculptural pendant light hangs from the vaulted ceiling, serving as a focal point above a low-profile coffee table with a marble top and metallic base. Integrated shelving with warm LED accent lighting and indoor greenery provide depth and texture, while subtle red cushion accents break the dark tones.

The download is a 1929 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Working with this SketchUp scene requires managing layers to isolate individual furniture assets or lighting components for easier editing. Users should verify that all texture paths are correctly re-linked upon opening the file to maintain the intended material scale and reflection settings. Because this is a complex, high-poly assembly, it is recommended to use component groups to toggle visibility for background elements, thereby keeping the viewport responsive while focusing on specific camera angles for final rendering adjustments.

This model is ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lobby visualisations, or luxury apartment marketing materials. It serves as a comprehensive base for designers needing a ready-to-render contemporary interior that pairs well with minimalist or high-tech architectural styles. Professionals can search for this asset when looking for inspiration in dark-toned interior design, double-height living spaces, or sophisticated, mood-driven residential layouts. It provides a complete, cohesive aesthetic for client presentations where a polished, high-contrast look is required to demonstrate premium material finishes.
