About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a neutral-toned sectional sofa, a lounge chair, and custom cabinetry. This complete interior scene showcases a balanced, contemporary living space defined by a palette of beige, grey, and natural wood tones. A large L-shaped sectional sofa with plush cushions serves as the focal point, paired with a matching lounge chair featuring a dark frame. Central to the layout is a circular coffee table with a light timber finish and a secondary, white pedestal side table. The background incorporates floor-to-ceiling cabinetry with glass-fronted shelving, integrated lighting, and a prominent horse-themed artwork, all anchored by a textured grey area rug and a sleek floor lamp.

The download is a 202 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for use in SketchUp, this scene provides a fully assembled environment ready for final visualisation. Users can easily adjust the composition by toggling visibility of the furniture layers, swapping out materials on the upholstery, or tweaking the lighting parameters to achieve the desired mood. The file is structured to allow for quick camera placement and perspective alignment, ensuring efficient workflow when generating high-quality renders for residential design presentations or client walkthroughs.

The scene is ideal for residential design projects, particularly for high-end apartment or villa living areas where a sophisticated, neutral aesthetic is required. It serves as an excellent reference for interior designers and visualisers looking to populate open-plan living zones or model contemporary home layouts. Professionals often search for complete room setups to streamline the design process when demonstrating furniture arrangements, lighting schemes, or material palettes to clients during the concept and development stages of a project.
