Brown Contemporary Dark Wood Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This contemporary SketchUp scene showcases a sophisticated open-plan living and dining area defined by rich timber wall panelling. The space features a deep, low-profile black leather sectional sofa as the primary anchor, accented by grey and vibrant red cushions. A substantial, layered coffee table sits on a textured area rug, while the background is dominated by floor-to-ceiling dark wood panelling that extends across the walls. A dining set is positioned behind the sofa, complemented by a minimalist shelving unit. Overhead, two large, gridded metal pendant light fixtures provide a striking architectural element, while floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains soften the natural light entering the room from the side.

The download is a 285 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational environment for interior visualisation projects. The file includes pre-configured geometry and material assignments, allowing designers to quickly populate the space with additional assets or modify existing textures. Users can adjust the lighting setup to suit specific time-of-day requirements and leverage the layered file structure to isolate furniture components for use in other models. It is recommended to check and optimise the polygon count if merging this scene into larger, more complex architectural projects.
