About this asset

This white plastic digital projector 3ds Max model features a versatile ceiling-mount bracket for AV integration in professional settings. This digital projector unit is finished in a clean white housing, contrasted by a dark grey lens barrel and a robust black adjustable ceiling mount. The chassis includes side venting grilles for thermal management and a rear connectivity panel for signal input. The mounting assembly consists of a circular base plate, a central vertical support, and a multi-arm cradle that securely grips the projector body. The design reflects standard commercial AV hardware, focusing on functional aesthetics with exposed mechanical adjustments and a professional, neutral colour palette suitable for varied interior environments.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this projector is structured as a single assembly, making it straightforward to place within a ceiling cavity or attached to a dropped ceiling grid. Users should ensure the pivot points for the mount are correctly aligned to allow for tilt and rotation adjustments. Given the clean geometry, it is suitable for both close-up detail shots and wider room visualisations, where standard lighting setups will effectively highlight the plastic and metal material finishes.

This asset is essential for technical interior visualisations of boardrooms, home cinemas, university lecture halls, and educational spaces. It integrates well into architectural scenes requiring realistic audiovisual hardware, particularly where the design brief calls for integrated technology solutions. Architects and interior designers will find this useful when detailing ceiling plans or AV-heavy environments, pairing it with projection screens and acoustic ceiling treatments to complete the technical fit-out of modern commercial or residential media rooms.
