White Fabric Tie-Back Curtain

This contemporary white fabric tie-back curtain for SketchUp features natural, soft folds and a classic gathered aesthetic. This single-panel curtain features a classic tie-back configuration, creating a soft, draped silhouette that suggests a lightweight fabric. The geometry captures deep, organic folds and a gentle gather at the centre, providing a realistic sense of movement and volume. The material appears as a matte white textile, suitable for neutral interior schemes. The panel is presented as a singular, freestanding element, allowing for flexible placement across various window widths or as a decorative room partition. Its clean, minimalist aesthetic makes it versatile for a range of interior styles, from modern apartments to traditional bedrooms.

The download is a 3.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a component that can be easily scaled to fit specific window heights or widths. Users should ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during render view setup. Applying a fabric texture with bump mapping will enhance the realism of the folds. Because it is a light geometry, it can be duplicated and mirrored to create a pair of curtains for larger openings without significantly increasing the file size or slowing down the viewport performance.

Ideal for residential projects, this curtain model works well in living room and bedroom visualisations where soft window treatments are required. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, providing a sense of comfort and finish to the interior space. Designers searching for window dressing, drapery, or textile assets will find this component useful for adding detail to architectural scenes. It is particularly effective for staging hotel suites or minimalist apartment interiors, helping to bridge the gap between hard architectural surfaces and soft, lived-in spaces.
