About this asset

A classic white fabric swagged curtain model for SketchUp, featuring intricate vertical pleats and a sleek black mounting rod. This window treatment features a formal, multi-layered design characterized by three distinct fabric swags draped over a simple, matte black curtain rod. The main panels exhibit dense, uniform vertical pleating that provides a structured, voluminous appearance. Decorative tie-backs with tassel-style accents are included at the right side, adding to the traditional aesthetic. The fabric is rendered in a clean, neutral white, making it a versatile choice for interiors requiring a touch of elegance. The assembly includes the rod, the main curtain panels, and the integrated valance swags as a single, cohesive unit.

The download is a 1.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component, allowing for easy positioning against window frames or wall surfaces. Users should utilize the scale tool to adjust the width and height to fit specific architectural openings while maintaining the integrity of the pleat geometry. Applying textures to the fabric surface is straightforward via the materials tray; ensure that the UV mapping is adjusted if switching to a custom fabric pattern to avoid tiling artifacts or distortion across the curved swag surfaces.

This curtain assembly is ideal for high-end residential projects, including formal living rooms, dining areas, and master bedrooms where a traditional or neoclassical aesthetic is desired. It also functions well in hospitality design, such as hotel suites or boutique restaurant settings, to create a sense of scale and luxury. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapery, or formal room finishes will find this asset useful for adding realism to interior visualisations and architectural walkthroughs where refined, soft furnishings are required to complete the space.
