About this asset

This white fabric pleated curtain SketchUp model provides a clean, neutral window treatment with realistic soft-fold geometry. This single-panel curtain features a classic pleated header that transitions into soft, natural vertical folds. The textile surface is rendered in a clean, off-white tone, suitable for various interior styles ranging from minimalist to contemporary. The geometry captures the weight and drape of a medium-thickness fabric, creating subtle highlights and shadows along the pleats. Designed as a standalone element, it provides a versatile solution for blocking light or adding softness to a space. The model is lightweight, focusing on efficient geometry to maintain visual clarity without excessive polygon density.

The download is a 2.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this curtain into your SketchUp scene, import the component and scale it to match your specific window frame height. Utilize the native move and rotate tools to position it along a curtain rod or track. For optimal results, apply a custom fabric texture or material property in your preferred rendering plugin to enhance the depth of the folds. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during your design process.

This curtain is ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and hospitality suites where a neutral, high-quality window covering is required. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard surfaces like timber or stone. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapes, or soft furnishings for interior visualisations will find this asset useful for staging residential projects. It is well-suited for adding realism to architectural renderings in the concept or design development stages, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the room.
