About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp window dressing set features floor-length white fabric curtains paired with a textured grey Roman blind. The assembly comprises a pair of full-height, floor-grazing curtains in a semi-sheer white fabric, featuring soft vertical folds and a clean heading. Centred behind these is a single Roman blind finished in a textured, mid-grey fabric, providing a contrasting layer of depth and privacy. The curtains are draped to hang naturally, creating realistic light diffusion effects. This set is designed as a cohesive window treatment, offering a balanced aesthetic that combines the fluidity of traditional drapery with the structured, minimalist geometry of a modern blind mechanism for clean, precise interior installations.

The download is a 81.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a group or component, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window aperture dimensions. Users can adjust the overall width by manipulating the curtain panels and resizing the Roman blind geometry. The textures are applied to standard faces, making it straightforward to swap materials or adjust transparency settings for the sheer curtains. It is best practice to place these on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design development phases of a project.

These window treatments are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and luxury hospitality suites where a layered, soft aesthetic is required. They pair well with classic or contemporary interior schemes, complementing wall panelling or minimalist window frames. Professionals might search for this asset when specifying window soft furnishings or staging interior visualisations for high-end residential developments. The neutral colour palette ensures versatility, fitting seamlessly into light-filled spaces that require a balance between natural light control and decorative texture.
