About this asset

This modern toy storage shelf for SketchUp features a white frame with natural wood drawers and integrated rope pull handles. This twelve-compartment storage unit is designed for children's rooms or play areas, offering a mix of open shelving and enclosed storage. The frame is finished in a clean white, providing a neutral backdrop for the seven removable drawers which feature a light natural wood finish. The layout includes a variety of square openings, allowing for the display of books, toys, and decorative items alongside concealed storage. The overall construction is robust, with a plinth base providing stability.

The download is a 25.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and repositioning of individual drawers or the main frame. Users can apply materials to the white surfaces and wood textures via the Materials tray. The model is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights and can be placed as a component within a larger interior scene. Its simple geometry ensures efficient performance, making it suitable for quick interior visualisations and space planning in residential projects.

Ideal for residential nursery and playroom designs, this storage unit complements contemporary interior styles. It works well when paired with soft furnishings, area rugs, and other child-focused furniture. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying functional storage solutions for kids' bedrooms or activity corners in family homes. It is a practical choice for early-stage conceptual layouts where clear organisation is required, as well as for final high-quality renders showing a lived-in, tidy family space.
