About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a walnut-top table with a black metal X-base and cream fabric chairs. This dining set comprises a large rectangular table paired with six matching dining chairs. The table features a solid walnut-toned top supported by a distinct black powder-coated metal X-frame base, providing a sturdy and architectural foundation. Each chair is designed with a curved, upholstered backrest and seat cushion finished in a neutral cream-toned fabric. The chair frames are constructed from slender black metal, mirroring the aesthetic of the table base. The set provides a balanced contrast between the warm, organic wood tones and the clean, minimalist lines of the metal and fabric components.

The download is a 51.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the table and chair groups are properly pivoted for easy arrangement. Utilize the native material editor to fine-tune the walnut wood grain reflection and the fabric bump maps for realistic close-up renders. The model is scaled for standard dining room heights, allowing for direct insertion into architectural projects. Use standard lighting setups, such as an HDRI or area lights, to highlight the material contrast between the matte metal legs and the soft upholstery.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, high-end apartment interiors, and boutique hospitality settings, this set offers a versatile aesthetic for modern living spaces. It functions well in open-plan layouts where a sophisticated, cohesive look is required. Designers searching for contemporary dining furniture or high-quality wood and fabric sets will find this model suitable for both concept visualisations and final production renders. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior palettes, clean-lined cabinetry, and modern pendant lighting fixtures to create a welcoming, functional dining environment.
