About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features warm walnut timber slats and a contrasting charcoal storage cabinet for media. Designed as a cohesive feature wall, this unit combines a floor-to-ceiling vertical slat back panel in a rich walnut finish with a floating horizontal console. A tall, sleek charcoal-finished cabinet provides vertical storage, balancing the linear geometry of the slats. The console includes integrated drawer storage, maintaining a clean, minimalist profile. The assembly is intended to be wall-mounted, providing a sophisticated backdrop for screen integration. Every element is proportioned to create a focal point, utilizing natural wood textures against dark, matte surfaces to define a modern living space aesthetic.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical grouping to allow for easy placement against interior walls. The slat paneling is mapped with high-quality wood grain textures, while the charcoal cabinet surfaces use appropriate material slots for reflection and roughness. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the rear face for accurate wall alignment. Lighting setups should focus on highlighting the depth of the vertical slats to capture the intended architectural character of the piece.

Ideal for residential living rooms and high-end apartment media suites, this unit serves as a functional feature wall. It pairs well with minimalist furniture, recessed ceiling lighting, and neutral interior palettes. Professionals often search for this type of assembly when specifying feature walls for luxury developments, open-plan living areas, or bespoke interior renovations. It provides a ready-to-use solution for visualising sophisticated media storage solutions where clean lines and material contrast are required to anchor the room design.
