About this asset

This wall-mounted natural wood altar SketchUp model features a decorative screen back and integrated shelf for traditional displays. Constructed from light-toned natural wood, this wall-mounted altar unit combines a minimalist frame with intricate geometric screen-work on the side panels. The structure includes a central platform designed to hold ritual objects, flanked by vertical supports that create a defined sacred space. An ornamental circular back panel with a floral motif serves as a focal point. The assembly includes a set of decorative accessories, such as a floral arrangement in a slim vase, small candle holders, and a central vessel, providing a fully staged look for interior visualisations.

The download is a 54.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is organised as a single grouping for easy placement on vertical surfaces. Users can scale the model to fit specific wall dimensions or adjust the material mapping on the wood grain to match interior finishes. The included decor items are grouped separately, allowing them to be toggled off or rearranged to suit specific project requirements. Standard move and rotate tools are used to align the unit precisely against wall geometry within the scene.

This altar is ideal for residential interiors, particularly in meditation rooms, private studies, or dedicated spiritual spaces. It serves as a sophisticated detail for hospitality projects, such as luxury hotel suites or boutique guesthouses seeking to incorporate traditional cultural elements. Designers should search for wall-mounted shrines or oriental-style furniture when looking to integrate this piece. It pairs effectively with natural textures, soft ambient lighting, and minimalist interior palettes, providing a balanced, tranquil focal point in a variety of contemporary or traditional design schemes.
