About this asset

This traditional upright piano with matching bench is a detailed SketchUp model featuring a rich dark wood finish and cream upholstery. This upright piano model features a classic wooden case finished in a deep, warm brown stain with visible grain patterns. The design includes a standard keyboard layout with black and white keys, a fallboard, and three foot pedals positioned at the base. Accompanying the instrument is a rectangular piano bench with slender, turned black legs and a padded seat upholstered in a neutral cream fabric. The proportions are characteristic of a standard upright console, providing a realistic representation for interior scenes where musical instruments are required as functional decor elements.

The download is a 5.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a room layout. Users should verify the scale against their project floor plan to ensure proper clearances. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily replaced or adjusted in the materials editor for custom wood finishes. The bench and piano are grouped together but can be separated if needed to reposition the stool for more dynamic, lived-in views.

Ideal for residential living rooms, music studios, or performance spaces, this piano adds a layer of sophistication to interior visualisations. It fits well in traditional or eclectic design schemes, pairing effectively with area rugs, floor lamps, and bookshelves to create a cozy reading or music corner. Professionals searching for musical equipment or classic home accessories will find this piece useful for staging high-end residential projects, school music rooms, or hotel lobby lounge areas where a focal point is required.
