About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a king bed features an upholstered wingback headboard finished in a soft taupe fabric. The bed frame is fully upholstered in a neutral taupe fabric, extending to the substantial wingback-style headboard which provides a defined, cocooning silhouette. It includes a low-profile base that sits close to the floor, creating a grounded aesthetic. The bedding set consists of a dark charcoal duvet, two large off-white pillows, and a small, square accent cushion in a deep red tone. The proportions are generous, suited for a king-sized mattress, and the overall construction focuses on clean, soft-edged geometry that balances comfort with modern architectural simplicity.

The download is a 92.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy management of the frame and bedding components. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within floor plans. Materials are mapped using standard coordinates, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric texture or colour. When rendering, apply a subtle ambient occlusion to highlight the folds in the upholstery and the depth between the pillows and the headboard.
