About this asset

This luxury 3-seater sofa 3ds Max model features deep button tufting in emerald velvet with slender gold-finished metal legs. This three-seater sofa showcases a refined Chesterfield-inspired silhouette defined by its dense, button-tufted upholstery across the backrest, inner arms, and front apron. The piece is finished in a rich, deep emerald velvet fabric that creates subtle highlights across its contoured surfaces. It is supported by tapered, gold-toned metal legs that add a contemporary contrast to the classic tufted frame. The set includes a selection of decorative scatter cushions in tonal shades of grey, charcoal, and cream, providing a layered aesthetic that complements the bold, saturated colour of the primary seating structure.

The download is a 5.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into 3ds Max, merge the file into your scene and ensure the unit scale is set correctly to maintain accurate proportions. The velvet material uses a standard shader setup, allowing for easy adjustments to reflection glossiness or anisotropy to suit your specific lighting environment. Use the provided cushions as individual objects to allow for flexible staging, ensuring they are placed with natural gravity to avoid clipping through the sofa seat or backrest surfaces.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this sofa serves as a primary statement piece. It pairs effectively with marble-topped coffee tables, brass floor lamps, and neutral-toned area rugs to balance the intense green velvet. Professionals searching for elegant, plush seating with a touch of mid-century glamour will find this model suitable for luxury interior design projects where a rich, textured focal point is required to anchor a sophisticated seating arrangement.
