About this asset

This 3ds Max model of a tropical-style round daybed features a woven rattan canopy structure and plush beige fabric upholstery. The daybed features a circular base frame crafted from woven natural rattan, supporting a generous, circular mattress pad. A semi-spherical woven rattan canopy is integrated into the rear half of the frame, providing a semi-enclosed, shaded lounge experience. The seating area is accessorised with multiple scatter cushions, all finished in a neutral, light-toned fabric. The overall aesthetic is organic and relaxed, characteristic of high-end resort or garden furniture. The proportions are designed for lounging, with the high-back canopy creating a sense of privacy and enclosure within a larger open-plan space.

The download is a 19.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the rattan structure versus the fabric cushions. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base center for straightforward placement on floor planes. Materials are mapped using standard coordinates, and the fabric textures can be swapped for custom patterns or colours using the material editor. The geometry is clean, suitable for mid-to-high-range visualisations without excessive poly counts.
