About this asset

This set of four traditional armchairs for SketchUp features varied wood-framed designs with upholstered seats, backs, and cushions. This collection comprises four distinct armchair designs, each showcasing a classic wood frame construction. The set includes a high-back olive green upholstered chair, a minimalist brown frame chair with a cream seat cushion, a circular-back spindle design with a tan seat, and a low-profile rounded barrel chair in terracotta fabric. Each piece exhibits unique proportions, ranging from 78cm to 93cm in height, providing a diverse range of seating silhouettes. The wood frames feature warm, dark-toned finishes, while the upholstery options offer a mix of textures suitable for various interior schemes.

The download is a 37.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as components for easy selection and manipulation. Users should ensure the axes are correctly aligned to the floor plane upon insertion. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be modified or swapped using the paint bucket tool to better suit specific render requirements. Given the varied styles, these chairs are ideal for populating residential or boutique hospitality scenes, with each model optimized for efficient placement without heavy geometry overhead.

These armchairs are versatile additions to residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lobby lounges. The different styles allow for a cohesive look when mixed in a single space or used individually across multiple project types. They pair well with traditional or transitional decor, including side tables, floor lamps, and area rugs. Professionals searching for classic accent seating or furniture sets for interior design visualization will find these models highly useful for staging diverse room settings.
