About this asset

This traditional armchair and side table set for 3ds Max features a classic floral fabric upholstery and dark wood frame detailing. The armchair exhibits a classic silhouette with a curved backrest and tapered wooden legs finished with subtle metallic ferrules. The upholstery is a distinct white fabric adorned with a blue floral pattern, complemented by a solid blue accent cushion. Piping detail runs along the edge of the seat and back cushions. Accompanying the chair is a circular side table featuring a dark wood finish and a structural cross-base support. The proportions are elegant and refined, suitable for a formal seating arrangement where traditional aesthetics are required to anchor a space.

The download is a 15.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this set is organized as a cohesive group, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a scene. The geometry is clean, with textures mapped to follow the contours of the chair frame and cushions. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of each object for efficient floor-level placement. Material parameters can be adjusted in the Slate Material Editor to fine-tune the gloss levels of the wooden surfaces and the weave appearance of the patterned fabric.

This set is intended for high-end residential projects, boutique hotel lobbies, or formal drawing rooms where a touch of classic elegance is desired. It works well as a reading nook or a secondary seating area in a master suite. Designers searching for floral accent chairs, traditional living room furniture, or small-scale lounge sets will find this model appropriate for both conceptual visualisations and detailed interior renders. It pairs effectively with neutral wall treatments or deep-toned wood panelling to highlight the intricate floral pattern.
