Traditional Dark Wood Oriental Living Room Set

This traditional Oriental living room set, provided as a 3ds Max model, features elaborate dark wood carving and warm-toned fabric upholstery. This formal seating arrangement comprises two armchairs, a matching sofa, and a low-profile coffee table, all crafted from dark-stained timber with intricate traditional carvings. The chairs and sofa exhibit high-backed frames with curved armrests and ornate openwork detailing. Each seat includes a slim, patterned yellow fabric cushion. The rectangular coffee table mirrors the aesthetic, featuring substantial carved legs and a clean, solid top surface. The set is presented with a decorative tea service, providing a sense of scale and cultural context for this cohesive, historically-inspired furniture collection.

The download is a 205 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for individual placement of the chairs, sofa, and table. Users should check the pivot points for each asset to ensure correct alignment with floor planes. The materials are mapped for standard rendering workflows, requiring simple adjustments for reflection or glossiness settings to suit specific lighting environments. The model is scaled for standard residential interiors and can be easily grouped for efficient scene management when populating larger architectural visualisations.
