About this asset

This SketchUp scene features a traditional dark wood altar setup, complete with decorative screens, ceramic vases, and floor cushions. The composition centres on a rectangular wooden altar cabinet finished in a deep walnut tone, featuring a lower storage section with panelled doors. It is framed by a decorative lattice-patterned partition screen and a central fabric-backed panel with a circular motif. The set includes two large ceramic floor vases with painted botanical patterns, flanking potted bonsai trees on low stands. A central pendant light with cylindrical shades hangs above, while a square floor rug with a geometric border and two small rectangular cushions completes the prayer space arrangement.

The download is a 48.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is organised as a cohesive group, allowing users to easily position the entire assembly within a larger interior model. The geometry is clean, with textures mapped to the individual components. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag for visibility control. The lighting setup can be adjusted independently to suit the ambient conditions of the project, and the materials are ready for secondary material overrides if a different wood finish is required.

This altar scene is intended for residential projects, particularly in dining or living areas where a dedicated prayer space is requested. It is suitable for high-end interior visualisations requiring cultural authenticity. Architects and designers can search for this asset when detailing traditional or oriental-inspired interiors, or when planning hotel suites and wellness retreats that incorporate contemplative zones. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments or dark-toned timber flooring to maintain a consistent aesthetic throughout the room design.
