Traditional Dark Wood Altar Cabinet Set

This traditional dark wood altar cabinet set for 3ds Max features an integrated backdrop with intricate oriental-inspired fretwork. This comprehensive altar assembly comprises a primary elevated altar table, a lower two-door storage cabinet, and a decorative wall-mounted backdrop. The unit is crafted from dark-toned timber, showcasing clean lines and subtle geometric ornamentation. The backdrop is defined by a circular central motif and a delicate lattice frame. Included as part of the decorative set are two white ceramic vases containing lotus arrangements, along with smaller ritual objects. The proportions are balanced, designed to serve as a focal point in a dedicated room or a recessed wall niche within a residence.

The download is a 58.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the furniture components versus the decorative accessories. Users should verify the scale against their scene units before merging. The materials are applied as standard shaders, which can be easily swapped for advanced render engine nodes. The backdrop can be adjusted or detached depending on the specific wall configuration of the interior project. Ensure all paths to the included texture maps are properly re-linked upon importing the model.

This altar set is intended for residential interior design projects, specifically for spaces requiring a dedicated area for traditional or cultural rituals. It is well-suited for living rooms, private study areas, or designated prayer rooms. Designers might search for this as an oriental altar, ancestor shrine, or wooden cabinet set. It pairs effectively with minimalist, neutral-toned interior schemes where the dark wood provides a strong visual anchor. The set is ideal for final render stages where cultural authenticity and detailed interior styling are required.
