About this asset

This traditional 3ds Max model of a cream fabric bench features button-tufted upholstery and classic dark wood turned legs. This rectangular bench is defined by its deep button-tufting across the seat, which provides a classic, plush aesthetic. The upholstery is a light, textured cream fabric that contrasts with the dark, rich finish of the four turned wooden legs. Each leg exhibits traditional detailing, including rounded profiles and narrow tapered sections near the base, characteristic of period-inspired furniture. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable as a versatile accent piece. The construction appears sturdy, with the upholstered top forming a clean, boxy silhouette that rests neatly atop the decorative timber supports.

The download is a 5.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for efficient selection and manipulation. Users can easily adjust the scale to fit specific interior layouts or modify the fabric material map to match project-specific colour palettes. The geometry is clean, ensuring smooth integration into scenes without unnecessary overhead. When placing the bench, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate alignment with floor planes or carpet surfaces during final scene assembly.

This bench serves as a functional and decorative element in high-end residential interiors, particularly at the foot of a bed, in a dressing area, or as additional seating in a living room. It pairs well with classic or transitional interior schemes, complementing tufted headboards or dark wood bedroom furniture. Designers often search for this piece when specifying accent seating for hotel suites or luxury boutique retail displays. Its neutral palette ensures it integrates seamlessly into refined, sophisticated room compositions.
