Traditional Chinese Wood Storage Set with Display Cabinet

This traditional Chinese wood storage set for 3ds Max features two tall wardrobes flanking a detailed open-work display cabinet. This three-piece furniture arrangement showcases intricate traditional Chinese craftsmanship, consisting of two tall, two-door wardrobes and a central multi-tiered display unit. Each wardrobe features prominent metal hardware and a rich, dark timber finish with visible grain patterns. The central piece integrates enclosed lower cabinets and drawers with an open, asymmetric shelving structure, designed for displaying decorative objects. The entire set is populated with various ceramic vases and small ornamental figures, adding authentic detail to the composition. The proportions are balanced, reflecting classic oriental furniture design principles with clean lines and decorative fretwork elements.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised as a cohesive collection of assets, allowing for easy placement and alignment within a scene. Users should maintain the hierarchical grouping to ensure proper scaling and positioning of the wardrobes relative to the central display unit. Materials are applied to separate components, enabling fine-tuning of wood textures or metal hardware finishes. Lighting should be carefully configured to highlight the open-work shelving and the reflective surfaces of the included decorative vases, ensuring a realistic representation of the wood grain.
