About this asset

This traditional lounge set for 3ds Max features a sofa, two armchairs, and a coffee table with detailed rattan side panels. This classic lounge set comprises a three-seater sofa, two matching armchairs, and a rectangular coffee table. The frames are constructed from dark-stained wood, featuring turned legs and distinctive rattan-inlaid side panels that evoke a colonial aesthetic. The seating is upholstered in a neutral, light-toned fabric with a subtle pattern, complemented by a variety of scatter cushions in muted earth tones. The coffee table features a clean top surface and a lower shelf, providing a balanced visual weight to the arrangement. Every piece is finished with consistent detailing, ensuring a cohesive look for formal interior spaces.

The download is a 141 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the models are merged as a group to maintain proper spatial relationships between the sofa, chairs, and table. The textures are mapped for realistic wood grain and fabric weave, so verify that your scene lighting highlights the rattan weave and the depth of the dark wood finish. Use the native pivot points for easy placement on floor planes, and adjust the cushion positions if necessary to suit specific camera angles or interior layouts.

This traditional furniture suite is well-suited for formal living rooms, hotel lobbies, or sunrooms that require a balanced, historical feel. It pairs effectively with natural textures and indoor plants, making it a versatile choice for designers aiming for a colonial or classic aesthetic. Professionals might search for this set when specifying pieces for heritage-style residential projects or boutique hospitality environments where comfort and a timeless silhouette are required. Its modular arrangement allows for flexible placement in both open-plan spaces and more intimate, structured room configurations.
