Teal Velvet Asymmetric Sofa with Gothic Screen

This 3ds Max scene features an asymmetric teal velvet sofa paired with a black metal Gothic-style screen for interior styling. The piece is an asymmetric two-seater sofa upholstered in a rich teal velvet, featuring a high-backed side that tapers down to a lower arm. It sits on slim, tapered black metal legs and includes a single off-white scatter cushion. Positioned directly behind the sofa is a decorative architectural screen, finished in matte black metal with a pointed Gothic arch profile and a quatrefoil-inspired glass insert. The combination provides a distinct sculptural silhouette, blending mid-century organic curves with traditional Gothic revival motifs, suitable for statement entryways or boutique hotel lobbies.

The download is a 32.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, the model is organised into logical layers, separating the sofa geometry from the Gothic screen assembly. Users can easily toggle the screen visibility or adjust the mapping of the velvet material to suit specific lighting conditions. The assets are scaled to real-world dimensions, allowing for seamless integration into larger interior scenes. Applying custom textures to the glass or adjusting the metal finish of the screen is straightforward via the standard material editor, ensuring flexibility for various render engine workflows.

This model is ideal for luxury residential projects, high-end hospitality interiors, or boutique retail showrooms where a focal point is required. It works well in formal living rooms, reading nooks, or as part of a curated lobby display. Professionals searching for 'statement seating', 'gothic revival furniture', or 'asymmetric sofa' will find this asset useful for creating evocative, high-concept visualisations. It pairs effectively with minimalist accessories to balance the ornate nature of the screen or with rich textures for a maximalist aesthetic.
