About this asset

This tan leather modular sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a low-profile design with adjustable backrests and loose scatter cushions. This modern modular sofa presents a low-slung, minimalist silhouette finished in a warm tan leather upholstery. The configuration consists of three distinct segments: an open-ended chaise section, a central seating module with a backrest, and a terminal end piece, providing a flexible layout. The design is characterised by its clean, boxy geometry and subtle seam detailing. Three square scatter cushions are included, offering additional comfort and visual texture. The lack of visible legs creates a floating appearance, making it suitable for contemporary living spaces where a grounded, expansive aesthetic is required for the lounge area.

The download is a 31.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is merged into your scene at the correct scale to maintain proper proportions. The modular segments are typically provided as separate objects, allowing for custom arrangements or re-configuration to fit specific floor plans. Apply the provided leather material maps to the UV-unwrapped geometry, adjusting the tiling if necessary. The cushions are grouped with the main frame but can be detached or repositioned to create a more relaxed, lived-in look within your architectural visualisation renders.

This piece is ideal for spacious open-plan living rooms, upscale hotel lobbies, or relaxed breakout areas in contemporary office projects. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and large-scale area rugs to define seating zones. Architects and designers searching for modular lounge furniture will find this asset versatile for both residential and commercial interior design schemes. Its neutral tan finish allows it to complement a wide range of palettes, from monochromatic minimalist interiors to warmer, earth-toned spaces seeking a sophisticated focal point.
