Square Natural Wood Coffee Table with Turned Legs

This traditional square coffee table, modelled for 3ds Max, features a natural wood finish and elegant turned legs with a shelf. This square coffee table is constructed from light-toned natural wood, showcasing a clean, classic aesthetic. The tabletop surface is divided into triangular segments by subtle inlaid detailing, creating a geometric star-like pattern at its centre. It is supported by four robust, turned legs that provide a stable, traditional foundation. A matching lower shelf is positioned between the legs, offering additional surface area for storage or display. The design is completed by a decorative floral arrangement and a stack of books, which are included as part of the model to demonstrate scale and context.

The download is a 148 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table and the included decorative props. Users can apply custom wood textures or adjust the existing material settings within the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to position within a larger scene. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement on floor surfaces, and consider using a standard light rig to highlight the wood grain.

Ideal for traditional or transitional living rooms, this coffee table functions well as a centrepiece in residential lounges, hotel suites, or boutique waiting areas. It pairs effectively with upholstered sofas and armchairs, providing a warm, grounded element to the interior scheme. Designers often search for classic wooden tables to add character to a space, or when seeking furniture that balances form with functional storage. It is suitable for use in high-end residential projects, hospitality design, or staged interior visualisations requiring a timeless, natural aesthetic.
