About this asset

This scandinavian-style double bed 3ds Max model features a spindle-back headboard and a natural wood frame with layered grey textiles. Defined by its airy spindle-style headboard, this double bed combines a light natural wood frame with a comprehensive bedding set. The structure rests on tapered, splayed legs that provide a clean, minimalist silhouette. The included textile arrangement consists of a white base sheet, a charcoal grey duvet cover, two dark grey plush pillows, and a textured, houndstooth-patterned throw blanket draped over one corner. The vertical slats of the headboard create a rhythmic, open appearance, making it suitable for compact bedrooms where maintaining a sense of light and space is essential for the interior design.

The download is a 22.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy management of the frame and bedding components. Users can adjust the material IDs to modify the fabric colours or wood finish to suit specific project palettes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within a bedroom scene. When integrating into a project, ensure the pivot point is set to the floor level for accurate snapping, and apply a light-weight texture map to the frame to maintain realistic wood grain detail.

This bed is ideal for residential bedrooms, guest rooms, or hotel suites that lean towards a scandinavian or wabi-sabi aesthetic. It pairs effectively with minimalist bedside tables and soft, ambient lighting. Professionals searching for a natural wood bed frame with integrated bedding will find this asset useful for high-quality architectural visualisations. It fits well in projects focusing on light, airy interiors where furniture should feel tactile and grounded, yet unobtrusive within the overall bedroom layout and surrounding decor.
