About this asset

This Scandinavian 3-seater sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring a light wood spindle-back frame and grey fabric upholstery with a throw. Defined by its light timber frame, this sofa showcases a distinctive spindle-style backrest and armrests that evoke mid-century and Scandinavian design sensibilities. The seat and back are finished in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by a collection of plush scatter cushions. A plaid throw blanket is draped across the seat, adding a layer of visual texture. The frame sits on tapered wooden legs, providing a lightweight, elevated profile that works well in modern interiors. All components, including the cushions and the textile accessories, are included as part of the primary seating assembly.

The download is a 16.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed through a clean layer structure, allowing for easy separation of the sofa frame from the soft furnishings. Users can apply custom fabric textures or adjust the wood grain mapping to suit specific project requirements. The model is scaled for real-world integration, making it straightforward to merge into existing interior scenes. Ensure that light sources are positioned to highlight the textile details of the cushions and the natural finish of the wooden frame for a realistic final render.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, modern apartment designs, or boutique hotel lounges where a relaxed, comfortable aesthetic is required. Its neutral palette allows it to pair seamlessly with contemporary coffee tables, minimalist area rugs, or timber flooring. Professionals searching for high-quality seating assets for home staging or architectural visualization will find this model versatile for both open-plan living areas and smaller, intimate reading nooks. It functions effectively as a focal point in Scandinavian-inspired interior design projects.
